Interstellar! It is pretty new, and man it was amazing!

Lolita (1997). I think the way the book is played out in this adaptation is absolutely fantastic, and portrays Humbert's insanity as more of a tragedy. I also thing that the Spud movies with Troye Sivan in them are great movies for a teenager as they're hilariously relatable.

    Mad Max: Fury Road.

  4. Strange Magic. I know its not everyone's cup of tea and that it didn't do so well on rotten tomato but I enjoyed it. I wont put spoilers in, because those whom haven't seen or heard any spoilers may well find themselves a tad surprised. It is a musical using old songs so know that going in. Love the story and would love to see a roleplay based on it. I do wish more people would watch it if only for the main characters.

"Mulholland Drive" - David Lynch isn't always everyone's thing but this film is really fantastic, it's the right mix of messed up and compelling. Also you get a "clue sheet" with the DVD which is designed to help you work out what's happening. And I love that you need a sheet for it. I wish more people I know had seen this film.

"V for Vendetta"! I am bias because it's my favorite movie, but it's fantastic.

  7. "V" was pretty excellent. I'm quite partial to classics like The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. I guess they were features of my childhood. I find myself watching more television-based things of late.

    The king and I

    The Rescuers Down Under.

    Spirit; The Stallion of Cimmaron.

    The animated Asterix movies.

I don't know if I might be wrong assuming these are easily overlooked. I don't see them being talked about a whole lot, but then I might not have searched hard enough. XD

  9. A walk to remember ;_; so beautiful I could watch that film over and over again.

The Fifth Element and The Princess Bride. I've found myself judging people for having not seen one or both, and improving my opinion of people for professing a love of either... Bonus points for quoting either movie at me.

Two films - for a thought provoking and heartwrenching story that makes you think everyone should watch Mississippi Burning. And for an all time classic, The Maltese Falcon - if you like the crime genre or the noir style that influenced so many other characters and writing styles it's a must - but read the book too!

I LOVE Dear Frankie. It's a really underrated Gerard Butler film that I feel like no one has heard of, but I have yet to play it for someone and have them not say they like it. It's sort of a slow burn film--It's Scottish, I think--but just really good quality. I also like A Shine of Rainbows. #Obscure

History of the World. That, IMO, and if IRC, was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.
