The USS Cerberus is a Centaur-class starship commanded by Commander Etaera Lin. We are a part of Obsidian Fleet's Task Force 21, and have a 13+ rating. We have the distinction of not only being OF’s only Centaur-class vessel, but also its only Intelligence/SCIS specialty simm.

With many of the powers-that-be in the Alpha Quadrant weakened by the Dominion War and the Hobus Supernova, the past decade and a half has been more peaceful than usual. But while the major powers have been rebuilding and restructuring, the lesser forces have flourished. Fortunately the Federation hasn't been left resting on it's laurels during this period, and they face these new threats with the technologies and developments gleaned from combat with the Dominion. But not everything is quite as simple as it seems…
For despite the relative peace and prosperity within the Federation, there are always enemies, and the most dangerous opponents that Starfleet faces may be the ones inside. Spies. Murderers. Traitors.
Fortunately, there’s a group devoted to finding these threats: Starfleet Criminal Investigative Service, or SCIS. The crew of the Cerberus is a part of this team, and we work to protect Starfleet and the Federation from such dangers. Rather than just having a single SCIS team, every department aboard the Cerberus is empowered with the skills to contribute to investigations.
