Paragon, the land of elemental wolves, sits as a large continent upon an Earth-like planet that spins on the far outreach of an unnamed galaxy. The wolves of this planet are the sole predators and are the only creatures able to be blessed with the elements to give them special powers and abilities. The legends speak of them thusly:Among the first, there was Tarra, a gentle soul of the forest. She nurtured those that came to her call, providing them the boons that would cause life to flourish and grow. These were called the Critheans.
The next, floating down from above as a leaf on the wind, Seraphina blessed those she deemed worthy with her enlightenment. Into those wolves she gave the boons that resonated with the freedom of the clouds and the mystique of the zephyrs that soared above. These were called the Feolans.
Another, having born out of strife, came Pyridon of the crashing waves and the quiet pools. His favor was granted to those with a soul that could handle both stillness and change, and they became akin to the fish that rode the waves and the fowl that floated in the streams. These were called the Uiscens.
Finally, within a great onslaught of heat and flame, out from the depths came the strong soul of Karrash. His boon was granted to those strong of body and mind, a force that could both destroy and give comfort to those that held it within. These were called the Tineans.
These four have created the basis for this world, enriching and filling the lives of the wolves that live within. Each wolf, however, is born as basic spirit, a simple wolf that appears very much normal, without many special abilities. These basic spirits, however, are enhanced by claiming one or even two elements. Will you join them and gain an element's favor, or shall you remain a basic spirit with no ties to any element?
