Have you ever thought about what house your favourite Disney/Dreamworks/Ghibli/Etc character would be in if they attended Hogwarts, or what kind of life they would make there? Ever wanted to roleplay them in that setting? Well, now you can! Hogwarts Animated (H.A.) is a crossover game in an alternate universe using the wizarding world from Harry Potter, taking place in modern day after the events of the wizarding war in which Voldemort was defeated. Members can choose an animated character from our provided list of canon films (or request to have one added if they can't find it!), choose a human face claim for them, and sort them into Hogwarts as a student! (Yes, even the non-human ones.) Or, if you're the type to prefer keeping your character an adult and having them teach a class or something, there is a staff app too!

Hogwarts Animated has many features outside of the crossover itself, making Hogwarts school life as realistic and fun as possible - Such as teaching/attending classes, a system set up for those who wish to have their character join the Quidditch team and play games, other Hogwarts school clubs such as the Frog Choir and Dueling Club, tons of special events planned such as holiday feasts, a real-year schedule that allows for summer and holiday vacations, the ability to make your character a prefect or head student, house points being awarded/deducted and annual house cup winners, monthly member voting/awards, signing your characters up and having them approved for special abilities such as being a werewolf or metamorphmagus, an in-character chatbox, a time-turner section for roleplaying events of their past, a school summer camp for keeping the site active during the summer break, special in-character activities such as a games section and journals, and a huuuuggee in depth website for you to explore, including the entirety of a realistic Hogwarts school and grounds, Hogsmeade Village, Diagon Alley, the Ministry of Magic, St. Mungo's Hospital, Azkaban Prison, King's Cross Station, and anywhere else in the wizarding or muggle world you can think of! We've only just started up, so there are tons of characters still available to whoever wants to come and snatch them up first.

The post-length expected from members is only a mere five (well-thought out) sentences per post. We encourage you to write more, but we understand that not everyone has the time or ability to do so. So we only ask that you write enough for your fellow members to go off of when replying to you! (Posts must also be written in third-person.)

Hogwarts Animated is PG-13 safe.
We allow 18+ content, but it is marked for convenient avoidance by anyone who doesn't wish to see it.
