For 1500 years, Aëron has basked in The Age of Peace following the devastating Great War that nearly destroyed the realm. The ancient, arcane powers that once threatened the land have long since faded from mortal memory. But now, whispers from western Daín speak of a rising conflict. There are whispers of lines being drawn, sides being chosen: one side seeks to unravel centuries of progress and plunge the realm into chaos, while the other dreams of seizing ultimate control over all who dwell within Aëron. As the winds of change blow through the realm and a new Age dawns, the question remains—will you fight to preserve the world as you know it, or forge a new one in the ashes of the old? Aëron is a play-by-post LitRPG hosted on a ProBoards forum, where you’ll create a unique character, dive into an immersive, player-driven story, and watch your hero grow as they gain experience, unlock abilities, and shape the fate of the realm. Through collaborative writing, you’ll engage in thrilling battles, solve mysteries, and forge alliances (or rivalries) with other players in a world rich with history and conflict.
