One assassin guild. One mage-guard unit. One underwater city.
In 1814, the sudden appearance of majii overran the magic-reliant world. Tourn & Stone Limited worked towards a solution to the dangers of majii, utilising it in propulsion systems, heating systems and even radio systems. It wasn't enough. People were dying. Majii swarmed the cities and towns, enveloping all. With the aid of the Seers, Tourn & Stone created Tournstone - a sanctuary underwater, for the people of Telvar City.
But the problem of majii was never fully solved. It's sudden unexplained appearance, or the problem of storing it safely, rendering it safe or utilising it as fast as it appeared with cast magic. Tourn and Stone may be gone, but the descendants remain within the sanctuary of Tournstone. Over time they have forgotten the cause of their relocation, why they have assassins and the Tournstone Guards (mages). Yet time has not forgotten, nor have those that caused it.
The year is 2014. Tournstone calls you to the depths.
