The Joker has returned.
Despite unwavering certainty amongst the citizens of Gotham that the Clown Prince of Crime was, most certainly, dead and gone, he has returned- and with a bang. Even Batman could not predict the scale of the plan that he set into motion when he came back onto the scene. Gotham is no longer a safe haven. It has been ensnared, caught in the grasp of possibly the two most dangerous criminals the city has ever known.
Six months have passed since the Clown Prince's newest game began. Six months, and the city is in shambles. Some are panicking, some are praying, and some are converting to the life of a criminal merely to survive. There is danger around every corner, and though you might come across the occasional vigilante, none have proven able to make a notable dent in the evil that encompasses the city now.
This is not something that Batman can handle on his own. Word has spread across the nation; both heroes and villains alike are taking up arms, making their way to the once-grand city, delving into the darkness and madness now found there.
Some want to save the city. Some want to see it burn.
Only time will tell of it's fate.
