Now, more and more crime fighters like him are rising to the occasion and joining the struggle to save the city. But corruption is still rife in Gotham; crooked cops and politicians are joined by the new breed of supervillains standing in the way of justice. Rooted in the sleek mythology of Christopher Nolan’s films, Gotham Noir is an advanced play-by-post forum-style AU RPG. The game is set five years after The Dark Knight, but independently of The Dark Knight Rises. We place a tight focus on writing-intensive world-building and character growth for adult players only. Solely canon characters from the Bat franchise and related DC properties are accepted, and must be adapted or revamped to fit the gritty 'movie realism' of Gotham Noir.
