'Someone voted with an IP Address similar to yours'

I get this message constantly when attempting to vote on my computer or on my phone when not logged in forcing me to log in. It has been this way for some weeks now and it happens every time I vote now. Didn't use to do this. With the unlikelihood of someone actually with a similiar ip address voting on the spot daily or a bot faking my ip address, on both my home computer and my phone which don't go through the same internet service provider I am led to believe this is a site issue.

I'll check it out. It's likely that your IP (and possibly some others) got mistakenly flagged for bot-like activity. That entire system could probably use a fresh truncating.

(As an aside though, being logged into RPGfix prior to voting will completely bypass the flagging system.)

More of a note to myself, but the conflicting IP address issue should be 100% fixed now. I've flushed all of the improperly banned addresses and the script that filters them has been improved greatly.
