I opted to close registration on the forums.For all of our efforts to gain new members, all we've gotten are fake registrations. The number of messages from Mailor Domo became so tiresome that I felt it necessary to close the registration on the forums. I did make a post on the forum explaining the problem with a link to it on the index page. I've been explaining to folks that to join they need to contact me directly. I'm not trying to be 'control hungry'. I simply don't have the time to compare forum accounts to the e-mails that tell me "the account does not exist on the server". There's been too many to count. We are open and our links are alive. Interested, potential members should contact me directly either by e-mail admin at therpg.org or Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheRpgOrganization November 1st to January 1st is our down-time due to NaNoWriMo and the holidays. People are welcome to join during this time so long as they understand this. It's a good time to brows the forums and read the open stories as there's no posting to them.
