    Just discovered this little corner of the internet via twitter this morning, and am very excited about meeting you all! My name is Esther - in "real life", I live in Oxford, UK, and work as a nurse. When I'm not working, I love to read, go to the gym, play the violin (badly and to the exasperation of my flatmates) and manage my own small BBC Sherlock RP forum. I also love to chat, so just reply here or drop me a message if there's anything you want to know/discuss! :)

    Hi, Esther! Welcome! What is it about the violin that made it your instrument of choice? Was it an extension of BBC love, family, or something else?

    Hi Iversia - thanks for your reply :) It probably was a combination of many things - I play the recorder and the piano too, but wanted an instrument that would fit into an orchestra (playing at the Last Night of the Proms in London is my biiig geeky dream :P) I've also been fascinated by the violin since I saw my best friend play during secondary school, and now actually knowing what I'm talking about when it comes to music is coming in handy for RPing as well! What about you - do you play an instrument?

    I used to play the clarinet poorly... other than that, I sing every so often. :) I think I'm much more a music listener than a music creator. If I were to try and learn an instrument again, I'm really not sure what I'd pick. There are far too many choices! I also think that the violin is fascinating, but I don't think that my building would very much appreciate me trying to learn that particular instrument. :P You're lucky to have awesome flatmates!
