Hello! I'm Amy, veteran RPer for more years than I care to admit. I remember when AOL chatrooms were all the rage. I remember when we were all amazed that AOL chatrooms got fancy features like colored text! Ah, those were the days...

These days I mod a small but scrappy little pan-fandom game on Dreamwidth and am trying to figure out all this fancy new advertising stuff like using Twitter and Tumblr. Gods help me.

 

@VarnishedTruths, whoa that takes me back! Not that I miss AOL all that much these days, but I'll always have a little soft spot for them I'm sure. I do miss some of those communities though.

Welcome to RPGFix! I've no doubt you'll find it an incredibly useful resource. If everyone is kind enough to explain the ins and outs of Tumblr advertising and the likes to a troglodyte like me I'm sure you'll have no trouble!

 

Thanks for the warm welcome, @Archaeon! I've been running into a lot of people nostalgic for the good old days of AOL lately. Apparently Rhydin is alive and well somewhere. Who woulda thought? I wonder if everyone still fights for the seats by the fire.

Ahh AOL RPs... those were... something lol.
I remember being in one where characters never slept, they never peed and they fell for someone on one day and then had full grown children with that person the next O.o So wild.
