A Bit of an Addict, Here

Greetings,

I was referred here by a friend and, after a bit of a delay, finally I registered: Moon, or LunarRain. I am the 'darn GM' I see mentioned at least once, haha.

I've actually been writing since the 4th grade. I was always reading, and one day I said to a friend that I "wish I could write like that," referring to... I think one of the Animorph books, maybe Goosebumps. My friend replied with, "Let's do it." So we did, and it was the absolute worst thing anyone has ever written, but his response stuck with me, and I've been writing ever since, about twenty years now.

Online RP is something I only got into about 8 years ago, though, and I've always loved the idea of crafting stories together with other people. For one thing, writer's block becomes much less of a hindrance -- when I get stuck on my own plot, I like to see if there's ways I can help advance someone else's.

Every time I write, I'm trying to get just a little bit better, but honestly, the act of writing itself is enjoyable for me. If I go through a tough period where I can't write , either working too hard or being sick for too long, I start feeling uncomfortable and jittery, like I need to start writing again. That makes me something of an odd one, I suppose.

In any case, I should cut this wordy intro short. It's a pleasure to meet another group of people who are into writing and RPing, and I look forward to getting to know some of you.
