F.R.I.E.N.D.S.​

Hi, everyone! We’re looking for a group of friends for some good times, some arguments, some love and some sadness. Do you have a current character that might fit the outline? Or would you rather make someone new? All are welcome!

PBs are totally open,so have at em! (Some do come with PB suggestions, but we're not stuck on them!)


Please note that those with ****** by there names have sub plot lines aside from just being group friends!


****** "The Butterfly"

This is the friend whose social skills you greatly admire—the one who’s perfectly comfortable going to a party alone, and can strike up a conversation with anyone about anything. This is a great friend to learn from, although going out with her could mean alone time for you.

She’s rich in confidence and not short on fiery personality; the kind of friend who won’t steer you wrong, but while not blunt, her course of action is finesse and elegance. In a pickle? She’s got the best way out. (The one that makes you look the best, anyway.) But is everything really as it seems? She won’t tell you it isn’t... Except that her long term, long-distance, on-again/off-again has recently transplanted to The Vineyard and it’s proving that maybe their relationship just isn’t as perfect as everyone thinks it is. For one thing, it’ll be a lot harder to be “off-again” in the same town. And it’ll be harder still when somebody from her past comes strolling back into her life, waving feelings that feel a lot more perfect than the not-so-perfect ones she’s been having for Kyle. How is she going to finesse her way out of this one?

***** "The Strong One"

There's always a friend in the group who has gone through things that we all wish we could take away from them. As much as we know they're hurting inside, they hold it together better than we could ever imagine doing, and more than they ever should have to. We admire these friends because we know the hurt they've felt and the things they've gone through, yet they smile like they've never been hurt before. She’s currently a serial dater who jumps ship when things get to close, but all that is about to change. Despite herself she’s starting to fall for Viv’s boyfriend ‘Kyle’, and for the first time in her life she’s actually thinking of what it would be to have someone stable in her life. Problem is, he’s her best friend’s ‘perfect man’, and she can’t fathom getting in the middle. Little does she know that there is more space between those two than she knows.

"The Perfect One"

Nothing bad ever happens to this one—she’s happily engaged or married, has every It bag as they come out, lives in a real apartment, has a great family life and career, and pulls in loads of money. You’d hate her if she wasn’t so damn nice!

In Sidney's case - she appears to be happily engaged to "the introvert". Everyone saw it coming, they've been perfect for each other since they met, but nobody knows the engagement came around as something of a ruse, or a thing of convenience.

"The Busy One"

Where has she been? Hanging out with other people? Working? Having sex? Writing a novel? Or are they just sitting on the couch pretending to busy? You don’t know. You try to get them to hang out, but they’re always doing something. How does one person always have so much to do? Are you even friends anymore? You’re not sure.

"The Brutally Honest One"

There’s certain situations in life where we need to hear the harsh truth. That’s what the brutally honest confidant is for. If you’re in a rocky relationship and everyone’s telling you that it’s perfectly normal that you’re back with that special someone for the 8th time in the last 2 years, the brutally honest confidant is there to yank your rose-colored glasses off and tell you, “Enough. Stop with all that break-up-and-get-back-together drama. You deserve better.” Friends are supposed to be honest with each other. If you find someone who is brutally honest with you (in a constructive way), then hold on to this person! People like that are hard to come by these days.

*****"The Ideal One"

’Kyle’ is Vivienne’s significant other and has been for some time now. They’re the ‘perfect couple’ in everyone’s eyes, but for some time he hasn’t been seeing it. He cares about her, and wants the best for her, but he isn’t in love with her anymore. Maybe going back-and-forth too many times and the expectations of his family kept him in a relationship he should have left ages ago. He’s newly moved to MV and has found himself amongst the top notch in town since he’s a successful surgeon. Things are great, except for one thing – "the strrong one". She confuses him, beguiles him and just all-round turns his head. He doesn’t want to hurt Viv but the more time he spends with "the strong one," the more he feels for her, and he thinks she feels the same way. What to do? Go or stay?

"The Maverick"

The Maverick is the disco ball of every friendship group, bringing fun and joy with them wherever they go. They’re the person you’re going to want to tear up the dance floor with, but they’re going to be a little flaky and probably not the most reliable person in your group.

"The Introvert”

This friend is a little bit more on the shy side, but still equally as lovable as anyone else. They don't speak as often, but when they do, they always have something meaningful to say.

"The Sarcastic One"

Everything is always a joke, and you can't say one sentence without them blowing it way out of proportion. Even the serious things are followed by snarky comments. You made a bet with them once to see how long they could go without blurting out something cynical, but they ended up failing miserably within the first hour.

"The Jock"

This guy loves his sports, his beer and not having to wear a shirt (he can afford not to). He’s the guy every guy wants to be, the former jock who still looks good and didn’t reach his peak in high school. He loves baseball and often wrangles friends into a game. He’s successful in his own right and really takes things as they come. No stress for him – everything is as smooth as a homerun.
