NaNoWriMo: Are you participating?

I'm a NanNoWriMo virgin but I'm trying it this year... Any suggestions? [:

 

I haven't heard of it before but it looks really cool. Might give it a shot..

 

I joined the most recent summer session, but ended up falling terribly behind thanks to numerous other projects I was involved in prior to signing up for the camp. As I've got an idea for a new novel prepared and mostly fleshed out already, I fully intend to join this coming fall session to help motivate me in getting it pushed out.

 

Been participating in it for the past two years, each time fall short. The first year I got one week in and life threw me a curve ball and last year I fell behind but managed to get half way. So I'm thinking this year is going to be the year I break the mark.
