Should you use .gifs in your RPs?

  1. On sites I’ve played on, including the current, the majority of members use posting tables with photos of the face claim or their character. I love these and don’t mind the gif ones. I also think it’s nice to be able to link to a gif as a reference when it might be challenging to describe it exactly.

    I love using gifs, but as with many aesthetic things on a site, it should be used with moderation and a bit of thoughtfulness. Gifs that are more distracting could maybe be used once or so at the start, but I think if it was every post I'd find it a bit of a nuasance.

    I would agree with that.
    Interesting, I've just started a Trek game and while I wouldn't use many images, I like the GM to use an image, e.g. shuttlecraft, starship, explosion; also if starfleet send a message it is nice to utilise the logo.

    It depends on what kind of gifs they use, but it can be a good thing to add to stuff
