I'm not sure who all would be interested in this, but I'm working on a new character management/play-by-post roleplaying system. It's inspired by the old one at Shadowlack and will be replacing the system there once it's complete. Here's a few of the new screenshots and some of old add-on features that I'm building into it from Shadowlack. It also has language localization as well as some slick database migrations for easy installation.

@century old I had to look that up, but yeah, I suppose it is. Though my original code has been around for a lot longer. :)

I recently built a similar system for Ferocious Universe. Members can create Characters through the Character manager, Staff can review and approve, and when they post, they can select which character they are using etc.

Character advancement (we use a level and tier system) is built in as well.

I would be interested is seeing what features you are looking to implement and compare them with my plans as I am always looking for ways to improve and make the forum RP experience better!
