JCINK general help setting up Jcink board

Okay, so I've volunteered myself to help run a Jcink board. Probably the worst thing I've let myself into. As of now, after a week trying to get things done, I'm still no further advanced. Its really difficult for me, because my coding exp is like zero and for this you need it, or some massive help. Its little things. Setting up the mini profile has been a nightmare; the board structure is crazy, for example, posts are transparent to the skin, making them really hard to read and I have no clue how to fix these things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, goodness. Yes, Jcink doesn't have any preview editors at all which means it's really difficult to skin if you're not fluent in html. Are you starting from a pre-made skin? Or from scratch? Do you know about the forums.jcink.com support forums?
