TV T.V. Shows

Anyone have any shows to recommend or ones you wished others would watch?

If anyone hasn't seen Doctor Who yet I would recommend it to anyone.

Personally I really liked Arrow, first season is over and although I went into the first episode doubtful on how they could make a live action green arrow show entertaining, I came out pleasantly surprised and then addicted. The pacing the show gets is perfect.

Golden Boy is another great show I think more people should watch. Its basically another cop show but I like these characters a lot more and was the first of its kind I couldn't put down.

Young Justice, oh god young justice. Canceled because of high costs (I think) but adored by so many. Better than most DC shows ive seen, and I can even say I like it much more than Justice League.

 

Battlestar Galactica. Re-imagined I suppose, as the original is only fun for those of us who saw it the first time round.

But omg. BSG is still a monumental show that has everything. Everything. It wasnt until I saw Katee Sackhoff's Starbuck I realised I never had a crush on Starbuck: I always wanted to BE him. I love her for that, for making me realise that.

What Doctor Who fo you mean, Zack? I recommend either Peter Davison (although I also loved Tom Baker, don't get me wrong) and Christopher Eccleston, mostly. Not so much a fan of Matt whatever. He's alright, but ... so soft.

And Firefly, obviously. But surely everyone has seen that by now :)

Can't believe I forgot about Game of Thrones (Go Starks) also Under the Dome seems to be shaping up as a good show and Broadchurch.

 

Ahh Buffy! I love Buffy so much! I have seen Firefly but i love just about everything Joss Whedon pushes out. He is a brilliant man and, oh oh Veronica Mars! Everyone needs to watch that. I recently got obsessed with Bones. I really like the chemistry between Booth and Bones!

 

I love Bones. Especially, watching the relationships in the show develop. And absolutely anything fantasy/vampire related. I can't really help myself.

 

I'd recommend Burn Notice, Boston Legal, The Newsroom, Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory, and Kingdom. All just terrific shows. Boston Legal is a fantastic dramedy, same with The Newsroom. Just amazing shows, you'll get goose bumps.

 

The most recent show I've really enjoyed was Spartacus. Recently just watched it again. Yea! Lol. Now I'm watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

 

I just got finished with a back to back marathon of Scandal. I'm watching Fringe again. I just finished watching House of Cards (really good). Trying to find other shows to get into. I've heard people talk about Game of Thrones. Any good? Any other suggestions?

 

Suits is really good, and the season just ended a couple weeks ago so it's a good time to catch up! White Collar, Law & Order: SVU, Master Chef (and all those reality cooking show competitions because they're fun lol)

I also just started this show last night on Netflix called Outrageous Fortune which seems like it'll be pretty good (and it's set in Australia so ALL the accents!)

Sooo many good series out just this season! but there have been so many good suggestions I'll just add this one:

Add Blacklist (click for trailer) to the list. Super amazing! James Spader... 'Nuff said.

 

I loved Burn Notice. I'm still kind of torn that they ended it. But I'd rather they give it a proper ending than have it drag on so long that it just completely degrades to nothing. And at least the ending was better than Dexter's.

Beyond that, I've been watching:
- Agents of SHIELD (love that show),
- Paranormal Witness (catching up on season 3),
- Walking Dead (I like Talking Dead too... but at times they have guests that I don't care for.),
- Arrow (even if there are scenes which are just eye-rollingly bad. Like the trashcan lid that stops grenade launcher fire. Yeah, doubt that's going to work and end how they showed it.),
- Supernatural
- Revolution (I still don't like Charlie...)


I'm looking forward to Almost Human since I think that looks kind of interesting.

Game of Thrones, definitely! I'm addicted!

Even though I don't like blood and guts and gore, I'm also addicted to The Walking Dead. I just close my eyes with the icky stuff comes up.

I'm not big into reality TV, however I'm addicted to So You Think You Can Dance. I just really love to see the artistry of the costumes, choreography, music, and so on.
