Right now I've been listening to a lot of St. Thomas and Benjamin Tod, along with Shakey Graves and William Elliott Whitmore. Guess I'm on somewhat of an indie/folk/alt-country kick.

I have my parents staying with us for a while as they look for a smaller place to live after selling their farm. So with them here, I get to discover some fantastic old songs when Dad switches on his little radio to one of those 'classic' music stations. My new fav, Connie Francis. My god! Her voice.

oh man, a friend of mine introduced me to Jacob Collier. I love his version of Danny Boy, it's so haunting.

bis: I'd be surprised if anyone knows them, since they're kinda obscure. They however did do the ending theme for the original Powerpuff Girls cartoon.

Gary Stadler: Did a bunch of fairy related New Age music. I have all of them and they're quite lovely!

The Doors: I've been listening lately, and forgot I did used to like them a bit. Been enjoying them.

I'm a huge sucker for anything acoustic. But my favorite band ever is Parabelle. A beautiful concoction of "Framing Hanley"s Kenneth Nixon and "Evan's Blue"s Kevin Matisyn.

Parabelle actually inspired me to start learning guitar!
